Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A Social Worker is
needed to provide essential support services at a high school in
Arlington Heights, IL. This is a contract leave position, offering
an opportunity to manage a caseload and deliver critical social
work services in an educational environment. The assignment runs
from April 1 to May 26, 2026, with a 35-hour workweek. Key
Responsibilities: Manage and support the high school student
caseload with appropriate social work interventions. Collaborate
with school staff, families, and community resources to address
students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Conduct
assessments, develop care plans, and provide counseling as needed.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to
student success initiatives. Maintain accurate records and ensure
compliance with state and district policies. Qualifications: Valid
Professional Educator License (PEL) for Social Work required. Proof
of degree in Social Work or related field. Experience working with
high school students preferred. Strong communication and
organizational skills. Ability to work onsite throughout the
contract duration. Location: Assignment based at a local high
school in Arlington Heights, IL. This is an onsite position; remote
