Job Description Hybrid Account Manager - Technical Sales Hybrid Office locations include: Minneapolis, MN (HQ), Madison, WI, and Marshfield, WI Cybertrol creates and delivers custom-engineered automation hardware and software solutions to manufacturing customers throughout the upper Midwest and across the world. There is a very strong engineering culture that emphasizes both personal and professional growth along with a commitment to provide high-quality solutions, including: plant-wide automation, information and industrial IT infrastructure, custom control panel design and fabrication, and upgrades of obsolete automation systems. JOB SUMMARY A Cybertrol Engineering "Engineering Account Manager" is a sales position with elements of account management incorporated with engineering.? The primary responsibility will be to grow the business by developing relationships with existing accounts and with newly identified customers that have qualified opportunities from marketing or business development activity.? The candidate will develop relationships with those new clients and develop them into our established customer base. The Account Manager role will require an engineering background and will work somewhat autonomously on solution design, estimating, and proposal creation.? Training will be provided for this aspect of the job but experience in engineering will be useful in performing these job duties.? Experience with trouble-shooting technical difficulties on the production floor will also prove useful as these challenges that our clients encounter will often lead to the opportunity for more sales.? ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSBuild rapport and high value relationships with assigned accountsUse a consultative selling approach to uncover new opportunities Demonstrate technical capabilities by applying and presenting solutions for client needs Architect solutions, prepare project estimations, and proposals based on agreed upon needs Enter and maintain funnel opportunities and contact information in the CRM Engage in quarterly and annual planning sessions with the Sales Leadership Team 10-15% travel to clients or tradeshows within the continental USA REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCETwo- or four-year Relevant Technical Degree3+ years relevant engineering experience Relationship building skills Cybertrol offers a discretionary bonus to all employees, based on company and personal performance.
