DescriptionRole Summary:The Travel and Expense Analyst position is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the WPS Corporate Travel Policy. The position is within Accounts Payable and will work closely with all WPS departments to administer the Corporate Travel Program and ensure the accuracy of the data in the Expense applicationIn this role you will:

  • Be a Subject Matter Expert in the Companys corporate travel program, expense application system, and the Companys Travel and Expense Policy.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with all WPS business partners and the Companys travel management company/travel agent
  • Execute the end-to-end T&E processing functions, monitor the Expense email box, assist with supporting any remote T&E processes
  • Audit expense authorizations and reports to ensure compliance with T&E Policy, probing for further information when required
  • Have strong knowledge of the Companys guidelines, Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and governmental policies to ensure the Company remains compliant with internal and external controls.
  • Provide an excellent level of training and customer service to internal and external customer
  • Support month end accrual process
  • Manage the reconciliation of the American Express travel card and the Associated Bank Visa Purchasing card prepare invoice for AP processing
  • Manage the reporting and analysis of T&E spend
  • Perform analytical and ad-hoc reporting as required for management
  • Assist with updates and maintenance to the expense application, including configurations, workflows, and audit rules
  • Periodic review of internal/external T&E guidelines, FTR changes, Corporate Travel policies, and industry trends recommend changes/updates as needed to improve services or compliance
  • Assist with internal and external audits and initiatives for T&EThis role could be a good fit if you:
    • Are a competent Microsoft Office user (Excel, Word, Power Point)
    • Are a quick learner and self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
    • Detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
    • Possess excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills including the ability to prepare and manage reports, edit procedures and training materials
    • Demonstrate the skillset to manage deadlines, deliverables, multiple priorities and pro-active follow up with internal and external customersYoull benefit from this experience by:

        • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field OR equivalent post high school education and/or work-related experience
        • Experience within Travel and Expense, Corporate Travel, and AP/FinanceWe also prefer:
          • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business or related field
          • Knowledge of the Business Travel Industry
          • Deltek Expense and Concur experience
          • Corporate Card program experienceYour team:
