Job Description:
The Project Manager will lead the design team in the production
of high-quality architectural plans and specifications. This person
will work with the internal development client to understand the
desired outcomes of the project and ensure they are executed by the
team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: -Oversee the
production complete construction documents. -Establish and maintain
project schedules and effectively communicate with team members.
-Meet with internal development clients and understand the desired
outcomes of the project. -Direct Senior Project Designers, Project
Designers, and external consultants to ensure documents are
complete and meet project goals. -Meet with state and local
officials to understand local codes and ordinances. -Conduct
on-site inspections throughout the project construction.
-Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate with
employees, clients and consultants using verbal, written and
interpersonal skills. Shares information and ideas with others, has
good listening skills and communicates is a friendly and
professional manner. An individual in this position must be able to

assigned for the position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Bachelor's
degree in architecture with 5 years' experience leading projects.
Architecture license preferred. -Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
-Ability to organize and lay out work to be generated on computer
or by manual drawing. -Working knowledge of AutoCAD -Understands
and follows company standards for maximizing productivity and
maintaining consistency. -Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Excel,
SketchUp and ComCheck software. -Ability to read and interpret
construction documents and specifications. -Ability to understand
and follow work instructions orally or in written form. -Ability to
communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
-Knowledge of multi-family and hospitality building types.
-Knowledge of wood frame construction. -Knowledge of building
codes. Experience with historic renovation and housing tax credits
is preferred.
