Quantitative Modeling Analyst

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Quantitative Modeling & Analyst to develop and implement technical trading strategies in commodity, forex, and equity markets.
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze commodity, forex, and equity markets to formulate technical trading strategies based on previous price action
Backtest data and present findings to developers or develop yourself
Live test algorithms and optimize based on inefficiencies

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a quantitative analyst in the financial industry formulating technical trading strategies based on previous price action, and backtesting the data
Knowledge and experience in financial markets, trading strategies, and related products
Minimum 3 years of experience in live testing and optimizing trading algorithms based on inefficiencies
A proven track record of developing successful trading strategies
Minimum 3 years of experience with statistical software packages and programming languages such as Python, R, MATLAB, and/or compiled languages (e.g. C++)
