Job Description:

Implements the instructions of the Production Supervisor through the direction and organization of production employees to achieve the desired quality and quantity of work. Duties and Responsibilities:- Use job packets and blueprints to establish equipment setup, masking requirements, and routine.- Direct production associates to maintain efficiency and to ensure proper use of working time. - Assist the Production Supervisor in organizing and planning jobs, and communicating schedules to personnel.- Coordinate daily breaks and lunch periods for production personnel ensuring adequate line coverage. - Monitor hanging and masking of parts in accordance to instructions in each job packet. - Train new employees including completion of new employee orientation check sheets.- Communicate with coaters to set up guns and equipment for each job ensuring the highest quality. - Perform basic quality tests and monitor parts using thickness gauge, MEK, etc.- Meet daily with Production Supervisors to plan and address any production and personnel concerns. - Verify accurate packaging and counts of the finished product. - Monitor all line personnel for desired levels of quality, efficiency, and accuracy of production. - Complete run specification tickets and notify Production Supervisor of any discrepancies.- Assist with the completion and updates of job packets and Process Specification forms/prints/drawings.- Track and fix any rework parts to meet quality standards.- Monitor all inventory, notifying the Production Supervisor of any discrepancies or needs. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements:- 5+ years' experience preferred with a manufacturing background- Demonstrates exceptional quality and team leadership skills- Above average understanding of the powder coating process, equipment, and operation - Ability to read and understand blueprints - Ability to communicate effectively with and direct other employees- Ability to prioritize by managing multiple tasks- Exceptional accuracy with attention to detail - Ability to speak and understand the English language- Ability to work flexible hours or overtime as needed - Professionalism Hours:Monday thru Thursday with possible Friday work5:00 AM to 3:30 PMPI215612019
