Job Description:

Job Purpose: As the logistics supervisor, you will study, design, and execute on-time in-full solutions for inbound and outbound distribution across enterprise business lines in the United States. - -
You are responsible to:

• 
  
• Develop on-time in-full logistics solutions
  
• Establish and monitor metrics that drive intended outcomes
  
• Liaise with production, sourcing, inventory, and sales stakeholders for continuous improvement
  
• Forecast volume and resources required
  
• Analyze freight routings for opportunities
  
• Reduce freight spend
  
• Mitigate down time risk
  
• Manage a portion of the Logistics team following the direction of the Logistics Manager and other company leadership.
  
  Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • A minimum of 5 years of supply chain industry experience
    
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
    
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
    
  • Collaborative and adaptive leadership style required to be successful in this role
    
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
    
  • Demonstrates ability to design, develop and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences
    
  • Demonstrates skill of managing internal and external customer expectations
    
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational excellence methodologies
    
  • Proven track record for delivering continuous improvement results
    
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
    
  • Ability to pick up new complex information systems quickly

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
