- Certification Details
- Certification by appropriate body: ARRT Registries of
Radiography (R) AND MRI (MR).
- Education: Minimum - Graduate of a School of Radiologic
Technology.
- Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- License and Certification: BLS (issued by American Heart
Association)
- Job Details
- Traveler must meet all minimum requirements below to be
considered.

and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment.
- Traveler will automatically be declined.

- Work independently in this position with all patient age groups
and varying locations.
- Responsible for maintenance and repairs, participate in QA, and
resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving
system.
- Work collaboratively with staff to prioritize and organize
schedules and to triage routine and emergent procedures.
- Participate in the instruction of other fellows, residents,
physicians and visiting health care professionals and may also
participate in clinical research.
- Job Requirements
- Experience: Two (2) years clinical experience.
- Candidate must have GE experience.

Technologist - MRI and perform technical imaging examinations and
complex, specialized procedures utilizing a wide variety of imaging
equipment and systems.
- Travelers are the first to float.
- The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units,
depending on the current staffing needs.
- During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer
has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to
complete contract.
- Unit Specific Information
- Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of
Madison (permanent address must be included in traveler's profile
including resume, medefis portal, onboarding
disclosures/questionnaires).
- Additional Details
- UW Health is moving away from using outdated file formats for
Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Profiles will need to be
submitted in the following format: .docx, .xlsx and .pptx file
types or our IS department will be blocking them and we will no
longer receive the files nor able to forward internal to our hiring
managers.
