Job Description:

Monty's Blue Plate is hiring a part-time Counter position. This position is expected to have weekend availability. With tips, this position can earn between $13-$20/hour.
Title: Counter
Work Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Reports to: Assistant General Manager or General Manager
Position Summary: This role finish preparing, heating, and cooking simple food items such as sandwiches, hamburgers, salads, milkshakes, ice cream dishes, and beverages, including coffee-type drinks.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: The main responsibility for this position is to prepare milk shakes and/or simple food.
Responsibilities:
Clean, peel, slice and trim food items using manual and electric appliances
Stock refrigerators, cupboards and salad bars
Keep records of the quantities of food used
Clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage
Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
Reset tables with clean tablecloths, napkins, silverware, glasses and dishes
