Job Description:

A company is looking for a Patient Advocate Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:

Screen patients for eligibility of State and Federal programs
Assist patients with applications for appropriate assistance programs
Follow up with assigned accounts to secure benefits for patients

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service/call center experience preferred
Previous experience with medical coding or billing preferred
Proficient PC knowledge and typing skills (30-40 wpm)
Ability to work and communicate effectively with coworkers, patients, and outside agencies
