Job descriptionJob descriptionPOSITION:Machine Cheese cutter at the Shullsburg Creamery is a motivated and highly organized individual who perform Machine cutting operating duties during their shift in the Packaging Department.The Machine Cutting Operator is responsible for setting up the equipment for a variety of cutting requirements throughout the day in the Packaging Department. This person oversees the overall production of the cheese as it moves throughout the operation from start to finish, working with staff to ensure a quality, finished product.SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITES:Able to take direction and willing to work according to the instructions that are given by a manager or supervisor. Must be flexible enough to embrace change and ask questions when needed.Monitors product output, identifies damages and quality deficiencies.Inspects and monitors machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance if required.
