The IT Systems Team at PillarRx is primarily responsible for:
advanced Azure architecture, database/SQL, networking support, end
user support, IT security, IVR/Call Center technology support and
design, and collaborating with the other internal teams regarding
systems and application architecture and design, all while ensuring
compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST standards. As a member of the IT
Systems team at PillarRx, the Senior Systems Engineer is
responsible for supporting systems design and architecture and
mentoring junior teammates on the IT Systems team. The person in
this role will be able to provide an immediate impact on the team
and company at large.
Essential Duties and Functions include the following:
- Collaborate with IT teammates to design, implement, and support
the Azure architecture to ensure technical solution designs provide
an efficient, secure, and cost-effective means to supporting data
storage and software development, which meet the technical
configuration and operational requirements to maintain all
standards and company certifications, including HITRUST.
- Collaborate with IT teammates to design, implement, optimize,
and support PillarRx's database infrastructure.
- Recommend and participate in the planning and design of new
technologies that meet the evolving needs of the business
- Act as a tier 2/3 support person on a variety of user/technical
support issues as needed, including, but not limited to, phone /
IVR, SQL Server, Microsoft Azure, networking, identity management,
third party business application support, B2B communication with
external parties, and additional technologies as identified
- Support technical efforts by creating, reviewing, and
maintaining accurate documentation for all systems (design docs,
implementation and support procedures, design diagrams, etc.)
- Apply exceptional organizational skills to IT efforts that
ensure efforts are completed timely and accurately.
- Collaborate with the other members of the IT Systems team
through team-based efforts to provide technical expertise,
knowledge transfer, and mentorship
- Foster a collaborative work environment with other teammates
outside the IT Systems team
- This position will include job duties that require risk
designations for access to Electronic Protected Health Information
(PHI) in the course of their job responsibilities

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

Required
Demonstrated expert level knowledge of Information Technology
concepts, including but not limited to:
- Microsoft Azure Technologies (App Services, Virtual Machines,
SQL, Networking, Azure Active Directory)
- Microsoft SQL (Server based), Administration and
Optimization
- Demonstrated excellent organizational and communication
skills
- Ability to travel to physical offices as required Preferred
- A degree from an accredited college in computer science with at
least 10 years of demonstrated experience IT Systems concepts
- Demonstrated success utilizing other Information Technology
tools and concepts such as:
- Microsoft Suite of Enterprise Products (Active Directory,
Windows Server, etc.)
- Call Center/IVR Software
- User Technology Support
- IT Monitoring and Security Best Practices
- 3rd party compliance (HIPAA, HITRUST)
- Certifications
- Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect or Equivalent
- Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, SSCP, CCSP or other industry
standard security certifications
- Other certifications that demonstrate expert-level knowledge in
IT Systems concepts
