world. As a Furniture Designer, you'll use your talents to help
create the furniture solutions that educators and librarians need
to do the amazing work they do. What you'll do
- Collaborate with Design and Product teams to support the
development of proprietary furniture solutions, with a primary
focus on K-12 environments and secondary focus on public library
spaces
- Design new furniture solutions: Create conceptual sketches, 2D
dimensioned product elevations using AutoCAD, and white space 3D
product renderings using Revit and/or 3ds Max
- Maintain existing furniture lines: Provide design support to
keep internal design content up to date and reflective of current
dimensions, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Support white label furniture and product initiatives: Create
white space and interior renderings to promote developed product
solutions -What we're looking for
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a furniture design-related
field, a related course of study, or equivalent relevant work
experience
- 2+ years of experience in furniture design
- Knowledge of mass production processes and the material
properties of steel, plywood, particleboard, solid woods, and
plastics
- Good communication skills to support collaboration on all
project details
- A creative, engaged mindset that supports the creation of
unique and inspiring solutions that differentiate Demco in the

- AutoCAD 2D and 3D experience
