Job Description:

The PositionArrowhead is seeking a highly motivated associate analytical scientist/scientist to join our growing Discovery Analytical Chemistry team. The successful candidate will be tasked with chemical/biological sample preparation and running HPLC/LC-MS to support ongoing discovery activities. Responsibilities

• Follow the instructions to prepare samples from various chemical or biological matrix such as plasma, urine, tissues etc
• Perform sample analysis using HPLC/LC-MS
• Perform the physical properties testing
• Communicate on a timely basis with other functional groups
• Generate regular status updates, and communicate progress and issues to management
• Keep good documentation
• Detail oriented and flexible for changes
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to thrive in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary, matrixed environment
• Maintain a high level of productivity in the lab and perform critical experimentsRequirements:
  • The successful candidate should have a BS or BA degree in chemistry or biology with at least 2 years of hand on experience in pharmaceutical industryPreferred:
    • Experience on HPLC Compensation DescriptionThe base salary range for this position in the selected city is $50,000 - $110,000 annually.
