Job Title: Senior Embedded Systems Engineer

Location: Madison WI area or relocation onlyAre you a highly experienced embedded systems engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you have a passion for designing, implementing and maintaining complex embedded systems and the ability to lead a team? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!We are seeking a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to lead our team of highly skilled professionals in designing and implementing our company's embedded systems.Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of embedded systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions that meet business requirements
Develop and implement strategies for system testing and validation
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components
Stay up-to-date with the latest embedded systems technologies and trends, and propose improvements and new solutionsQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development
- Strong knowledge of C, C++, and assembly programming languages
- Experience with various microcontroller architectures, including ARM and PIC
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS), including FreeRTOS, ThreadX, and VxWorks
- Experience with low-level drivers and hardware interfaces, such as SPI, I2C, UART, and Ethernet
- Experience with software version control systems, such as Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
