Our small team of customer service professionals supports business-to-business sales with a small number of high-impact clients.

Dairyland has a thriving company culture, an incredible customer base, and clear avenues for advancement.Primary Responsibilities (functions, job duties, tasks, etc.):

  • Answer and direct incoming domestic and international calls, e-mail, and website requests.
  • Provide technical literature, advice, and recommendations for customer inquiries.
  • Perform Customer Service lifecycle activities including resolve general customer requests, maintain customer accounts, manage quotes and orders, coordinate production and delivery schedules, and generate customer invoices, credit memos, and returns.
  • Document sales opportunities, follow up on quotations, and provide information or solutions to move customers along the path to purchase.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure thorough customer assistance and a high quality of work.
  • Inform management on activity, trends, and competition.
  • Assist with operational and strategic objectives and projects.
  • All other duties as assigned.Competencies -(required education, training, skills, and/or experience):
    • Associate's degree in business related field or three years' experience in customer service.
    • Exceptional customer service skills including strong oral and written communication skills to communicate complex or technical concepts with customers, which include international contacts. -
    • Proven ability to multi-task, follow procedures and meet deadlines, while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
    • Proficient working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Capable to quickly learn new technologies.

      • Base pay starting at $20-$25 per hour, based on experience. Average annual compensation of $43,680 - $54,600 including bonuses. -Organizational Relationships (primary contacts/interfaces): -

        • Regular contact with peers in all departments. - - -Physical Demands: -
          • Able to sit for extended periods and efficiently perform work on a computer.
          • Able to answer phones and communicate effectively.
          • Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds.
          • May include occasional travel, including to out-of-state trade shows and conferences.
