Description: JOB PURPOSE or JOB SUMMARY:The Development
Associate will work closely with the Regional Developers to
identify new projects and secure financing. The Development
Associate will assist several Regional Developers and work on
multiple projects to help achieve the Company's overall development
production objectives. The position will work closely across all
Commonwealth departments and external partners including investors,
lenders, housing agencies and consulting professional.ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:-- Analyze LIHTC Qualified Allocations
Plans and recommend strategies to achieve maximum production.--
Assist Developers with site searches and evaluation to identify
potential development opportunities.-- Perform project financial
modeling and feasibility analysis.-- Perform due diligence such as
market conditions, entitlements, real estate taxes, utilities,
title and environmental.-- Assist Developers with applications and
requests for proposals/qualifications for a variety of funding
sources and potential partnership opportunities. -- As needed,
assist with the closing for pre-development financing, land
acquisition and LIHTC investors. -- Effectively communicate
relevant project information to senior project team members.An

position.Requirements: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:-- Bachelor's
degree required -- Work experience in affordable housing (LIHTC),
real estate development; or work experience in a related field such
as commercial lending, housing agency, accounting, or paralegal. --
Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate effectively in
writing. -- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft
Office software, including Excel -- Must be self-motivated and
eager to perform-- Ability to work in a team environment -- Some
travel by car and plane to project locations possible -- Knowledge
of HUD and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs is a
