As part of the team, each contribution is integral to the overall success of the company.Role Summary:The Machine Technician Trainee is responsible for learning uniform and consistent machine set up and operation and overall parts quality. In addition, the Machine Technician Trainee is expected to progress through the established competencies for the position.Pay: $20.10 + $3.00 shift differential per hour.Accountable for:To understand the needs of our customers and how a quality part is defined by them, and to assist in ensuring that the output of our process is quality parts and to help teach others how to achieve the same goal.To review parts quality with the inspector/packer in order to learn if parts quality is within acceptable standards and in control and then make needed machine adjustments if necessary.To receive on-going training in machine set-up and operation.To follow good manufacturing practices to ensure product safety.To perform the duties of Inspector Packer when required.To complete production records as needed.To perform other duties and tasks as may be assigned by the Crew leaderRequirements: To be considered for this position a person must have two to three years experience in a closely related environment.
