Join one of the world's foremost organ transplant programs.We are seeking a Registered Nurse :The UW Health Transplant Program offers a wide range of services including kidney and live-donor kidney, pancreas, liver and live-donor liver, heart, lung, heart/lung, intestine, multiple organ, islet cell and pediatric transplant services.Work with transplant recipients and living related donors from all over the U.S.Participate in a strong supportive team environment.Education :Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.Work Experience :Minimum - One (1) year recent acute medical or surgical experience requiredPreferred - Transplant experienceLicenses and Certifications :Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin and CPR certification.Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities :Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.Experience in teaching patients and families.Excellent communication skills.Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members.Physical Requirements :Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionUW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
