Salary: $28 per hour + noneReference: S_124927Upgraded Spherion benefits package offered as well as a PTO policy that mirrors the policy of the State of Wisconsin!Spherion is recruiting a Training Specialist for our State of Wisconsin client!The Bureau of Eligibility Operations and Training (BEOT) has primary responsibility for providing Statewide training on eligibility and enrollment policy and process for Income Maintenance (IM) workers. Programs include Elderly Blind and Disability Medicaid, BadgerCare Plus, FoodShare, and Caretaker Supplement.Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the IM Training Supervisor and with direction from the IM Training Section Manager, this position has responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of efficient and effective IM training programs for IM eligibility staff. This role will also assist in the development, implementation, and analysis of training needs, assessments, curriculum, and surveys. The incumbent will be instrumental in creating, editing, delivering, and publishing professional trainings as requested in areas including but not limited to New Worker Orientation, Prerequisites, Client Registration, BadgerCare Plus, FoodShare, EBD Medicaid, Caretaker Supplement, and Ongoing Case Maintenance. You will also be responsible for drafting, designing, updating, and delivering trainings for new IM eligibility staff as well as experienced IM staff for both virtual, computer-based, and in-person training delivery (IM Consortia, IM Tribal agencies, and MilES).Working closely with other Staff Development Program Specialist Senior staff within the BEOT Training team, you will help identify IM training needs related to IM policy, process, and systems that exist for IM agencies. The incumbent will also develop, deliver, and evaluate Medicaid/BadgerCare Plus and FoodShare eligibility training programs.As the BEOT training area is currently undergoing a transition into a combined blended virtual instructor-led training and computer-based training solution, this position will assist with the transition into the new training model by working within various focus areas including delivering virtual or in-person training, curriculum development and design, instructional design work, developing refresher trainings for experienced workers, and applying new policy and process as it relates to CARES system work. This position may need to assist in any of the above areas while the transition into the innovative training model takes place as well as maintain knowledge and cross-training within each of the focus areas after the transition to the new training model is implemented. This includes delivering MilES training for MilES new workers including providing feedback to MilES management on the progress of new workers through training and any performance concerns and praises of new workers.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Demonstrated knowledge of Income Maintenance policies and procedures- 3+ years experience in the social services field- 2+ years experience in training and curriculum developmentEducation:BachelorsExperience:1-4 yearsQualifications:To be successful in this role, it is essential that you are able to communicate eligibility policies and processes efficiently and effectively through various training methods. You will be expected to identify new technologies associated with the delivery of training programs and to incorporate new technologies as appropriate to ensure that there is an interactive and engaging training experience for workers.
