Job Description:
Job Description Job Title: General Assembly/Labor As a General
Assembler in the Production department, you are responsible for
producing parts by setting up and operating equipment in their
respective assigned work area and, may, at times, be expected to
provide support to other areas of production. Assemblers must
always work safely and efficiently to ensure top productivity and
quality in products produced. Production Areas: Straightening
Induction heat treating Weigh sorting, and gaging Hot forming,
Chain Abrading Shot Blast bronco. You will do this by:
Straightening responsibilities: Setting-up and operating small
tonnage presses (typically 350 tons or less). Installing specified
dies in press using gauges and hand tools. Hot forming
responsibilities: Inserting blanks manually into press and
performing hot form operations. Induction heat treating
responsibilities: Operating induction units and lapel equipment,
ensuring units are running properly and product meets quality
standards. Troubleshooting any induction unit issues with a
production lead or supervisor. Packaging customers--- parts
Performing operator maintenance and/or 5S housekeeping per
established schedules Maintaining safe operations by adhering to
safety procedures and regulations. Performing quality checks as
prescribed and reports issues to their supervisor. Completing
relevant check lists, documentation accurately and timely and per
instruction Performing operator maintenance and/or 5S housekeeping

experience working in a manufacturing environment Basic math Skills
to analyze information and measuring equipment Basic computer
skills Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years--- experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience troubleshooting equipment Additional Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to read a tape measure Ability to read check sheets Ability
to use special micrometers and gauges Ability to work safely and
efficiently Ability to work with close tolerances Ability to work
in a team and independently Physical - Visual Demands: Ability to
stand 8-12 hours a day Sit, stand, squat, bend Reach overhead with
one or both arms Repetitive movement of lifting and placing parts
on machines / up to 15 pounds. Ability to occasionally lift up to
50 pounds Ability to occasionally push/pull up to 75 pounds Work
Environment: Loud (Examples: metal can, manufacturing department,

53094 Shift Hours: Sunday- Thursday 10pm-6am with Overtime on
