Are you ready to use your leadership skills in a program management position? This is your opportunity!

As an Associate Program Manager, you will work directly with Program Managers to ensure all program objectives are met within the cost and schedule constraints. This includes developing a detailed, resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule and monitoring/reporting performance against that baseline. You will also be responsible for program risk identification, mitigation when possible, and tracking to closure. The Program Manager may assign other program management support tasks as needed.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline (relevant program management experience may be considered in lieu of required education)

  • Ability to lead and inspire your team to success, manage dynamic and complex situations, recognize and resolve conflicts, and confidence to challenge the status quo when appropriate

  • Experience in developing and maintaining a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

  • Requires skills in team building, customer relations, time management, conflict resolution, communication, briefing, presentation, strategic thinking, marketing, and literacy in the program management disciplines

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or equivalent

  • Experience developing and maintaining an IMS in Microsoft Project

  • Experience with Earned Value Performance Management

  • Experience working within an AS9100 and/or ISO9001 compliant organization 

  • Basic understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
