This role will be remote until safe to go back into the office
(projected this Fall) and then will require onsite presence in
Madison. Relocation package offered.
Responsible for implementation and execution of technology and
business objectives through the use of technology. Provides
governance over technology projects and their implementation.
Drives the effort of deeper digitization of all processes and
continued automation of the entire organization. Ensures overall
integrity of landscapes and systems.
Responsible for implementing a corporate information technology
strategic plan. Leads and manages the Information Technology
Governance process for the company by providing continued
technological excellence in infrastructure, operations and
Manages and maintains collaborative relationship with vendors
and products. In addition, manages alliances and long-term
Leads effort to monitor vendors, products and market. Act as
company-wide resource regarding vendors and products and
Oversees the compliance of the corporate IT resource with
relevant standards and appropriate best practices. Promotes the
development of enterprise technology standards to ensure
compatibility and integration (e.g., multi-vendor platforms)
throughout the company.
Monitors and evaluates best practices in the area of IT.
Provides leadership in the implementation of new practices to
increase organizational performance and success. Develops
organization-wide programs to implement these practices, focusing
on project delivery, cost management, issue resolution, and
Develops budget and end-of-year forecasts, which includes
managing expenditures to stay within budget. Documents and
understands the costs of services provided by the teams. Maintains
up-to-date benchmarks on organizational performance year-over-year
related to the industry.
Interacts extensively with peers, customers, IT staff and other
support area staff to ensure IT service delivery is integrated with
that of other support areas. Ensures IT project information is
communicated and shared across the IT organization and the company
when applicable. Actively communicates with customers regarding
service delivery to identify areas for improvement and growth
Promotes the development of employees throughout the
organization to ensure continued skill development and agility of
teams and employees.
- 10 years of related experience including the management of
large information technology organizations.
- 6 years progressively more responsible supervisory
- Profit and loss experience.
- Promotes and supports diversity initiatives and equal
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop short- and long-term strategic
plans and translate those plans into action.
- Software development background w/technical & enterprise
- Data analytics knowledge
- Digital Transformation experience in making a better customer
- Vision- increase machine learning, data science and make the
customer experience great.
- Experience w/defining & executing strategy for new ERP platform
(more cloud based vs. the traditional SAP background)
