Marketing Content Coordinator Job number: US14399 Position type Regular Function Marketing State/Province Wisconsin City Middleton Region US Posting Date: Apr-07-2021 Division Information Our Commercial Operations team is a cross-business unit organization responsible for operational activities and execution to enable the success of business unit strategies for both digital and traditional channels. Our Commercial Operations organization consists of teams focused in the following areas: Consumer Insights & Analytics, Digital Consumer Experience, Ecommerce Sales Strategy & Operations, and Revenue & Profit Management. These teams work collaboratively with each business unit to maximize our competitive edge in the marketplace. Job Summary The Marketing Content team is responsible for the accuracy and timely delivery of all product related information distributed to our retail and wholesale partners for in-store and online sales. The STEP Product Information Management System is the platform for managing product content. The Marketing Content Coordinator will help gather, enrich, organize and manage product related content using STEP Product Information Management System for multiple brands and platforms while satisfying requests for content to be distributed to internal or external business partners. This key role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with external E-commerce, Retail and Wholesale channel partners when fulfilling data requests as well as with internal Channel Marketing, Product Marketing and Sales Teams when gathering and enriching product data and content. As the Product Content Coordinator trained on HHI's Stibo STEP Product Information Management (PIM) system, you will manage, import/export and audit product data. You are responsible for working with the Digital Marketing Manager to define and implement new processes to improve the flow of content between internal customers and our systems and external partners and their systems. This position interfaces with several departments while coordinating data flow including IT, Engineering, Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing, Sales, Graphic Design, Sourcing and Operations. This position allows for excellent visibility throughout the company and the opportunity to learn how all parts of the business function. Primary Duties & Responsibilities - (30%) Gather, enrich and organize product data in Salsify product information management system with a focus on improving quality, consistency and completeness - (30%) Working closely with the Sales Team, actively engage and manage one or two key channel partner data accounts as identified by the Digital Marketing Manager for data management (Channel partner accounts include but are not limited to , Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe's,Menards) - (20%) Fulfill data requests as needed for other partners - (10%) Support product content audits and cleansing efforts within Salsify - Ensure data quality standards are met per Business Units - Gain product knowledge for multiple brands and product types - Coordinate with cross-functional teams within various departments to gather required product data - Manage product related content used to drive sales through E-Commerce, Retail and Wholesale channel partner e-commerce websites as well as other SpectrumBrand internal applications and sites - Gather data to normalize product content and data from various sources to ensure accurate data consistently - Validate product data, images and descriptions for accuracy - Foster relationships with other departments that provide and use data - Improve productivity through reuse of product data - Achieve internal product data requests from product teams - Become owner and expert at managing select 3rd party tools to distribute and upload data to channel partner accounts - Fulfill job requests with our major retail partners interfacing with their product data teams Education and Experience Profile - Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent years of experience - 1 to 3 years of content management, marketing or information systems experience required Required Skills - Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) preferred - Knowledge of Product Information Systems (PIM) preferred - Experience with Salsify (Preferred) - Must be analytical, proactive, and a self-starter - Highly motivated, independent, ambitious with strong interpersonal skills - Ability to manage multiple clients under tight deadlines and complex requirements - Attention to detail and ability to work effectively with multiple departments - Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office software suite, particularly with Excel - General understanding of Information Systems and Databases - High attention to detail - Responsible and reliable with strong personal integrity - Understanding of GS1 standards/GDSN elements - Familiar with principles and practices of data management Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
