Part of Dover Corporation’s Engineered Systems segment, Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is a strong, diverse and dynamic global leader in the vehicle service industry. VSG comprises 13 major vehicle lifting, wheel service, diagnostic and collision repair brands: Rotary Lift®, Chief®, Forward®, Direct-Lift®, Ravaglioli, Hanmecson®, Revolution®, Elektron, Blitz, Nogra, Butler, Space and Sirio.

SUMMARY: The Global Commercial Director – Automotive Aftermarket will be responsible for coordinating efforts among ADAS projects and achieving the stated financial and non-financial objectives. Essential program management responsibilities include the identification, rationalization, monitoring and control of the interdependencies between projects, dealing with escalated issues among the projects that comprise the program, as well as tracking the contribution of each project and the non-project work to the consolidated program benefits. Strong interpersonal skills and analytical problem-solving a must.


Support the launch of Mosaic 3.0 ADAS OEM based calibration equipment in the Collision repair market in North America, to ensure customer acceptance. Gain MSO business.

Gain OEM approvals for the product

Launch Adjacent ADAS products: Glass Market

High-speed system

Combi systems

After-market, non-OEM based system

Expand the product globally, with priority to Australia and Europe.

Manage the business alliance partners and add/shift partners, as needed.


With a bias for execution and moving quickly, the Global Commercial Director – Automotive Aftermarket will lead and plan the ADAS program, meet with senior executives, ensure maximum efficiency in resource allocation across projects, and among alliance members. Ensure alignment with company strategic goals.

Develop key industry and market relationships in order to better plan and execute ADAS programs.

Understand the bigger industry picture. Evaluate, recommend, and execute strategy on how to grow ADAS globally. Collision, Glass, High-volume, OEM vs aftermarket (TECA), combo touchless alignment/ADAS, after market

Global expansion.

Monitor ADAS Program overall progress, governance, and resolve issues and initiate corrective action.

Develop trust and confidence of alliance members – and communicate open issues with cross-functional internal teams (OPS-FINANACE-LOGISTICS-QUALITY-SALES-MARKETING). Passion for collaboration is required given the alliance members, internal teams, the channels, and the end users.

Manage business alliance contracts and negotiate/update, as needed.

Understand and support the ADAS program budget, revenue/earnings goals, and business forecasts Key contributor to VP Sales on revenue/EBIT forecast, both for SIOP, AOP, and for STRAT.

Collaborate with VP Sales, alliance members, and Industry/Market relationships to help achieve revenue goals.

Ensure ADAS (include product-services-regions) deliverables are to time, quality, and budget Work closely with ADAS Product Manager and collaborate in future direction

Manage dependencies between projects (OEM – Universal – Hi Volume – Glass – After Market)

Manage the program’s risks (OEM – Universal – Hi Volume – Glass – After Market portfolio’s/Alliance member issues/Market issues)

Constantly monitor for gaps in the ADAS program and rectify where possible

Understand global opportunities, work closely with regional internal and external parties, and develop growth roadmap across multiple departments to promote OneVSG execution.

Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to articulate complex ideas and with a good instinct for business. Must be a people-person who is skilled at impressing clients, satisfying customers, and keep large multi-dimensional teams working together in the most efficient ways possible.

Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, which require a practical numbers-oriented mind

Very comfort working at, and able to build trust at all levels of an organization, from a small business owner, to CEO’s of multi-billion dollar corporations or Private Equity firms. Can establish a lasting relationship with vehicle OEMs and with third-party influencers in the industry

Customer Impact: Creates value for customers addressing known and unknown needs. Knows and understands all aspects of the global market, including: economics (regulatory issues, corporate compliance, etc.), products and services, channels, the customers and their end-markets.

Strategic Mindset: Has understanding of global industry or market; creates breakthrough strategies that alter the competitive dynamics in a market, and establishes a series of competitive advantages yielding profitability that exceeds expectations for the organization. Constantly looking for new opportunities in the industry, or within close adjacencies, and through good insight, not only go after the high potential prospects but successful launch new business opportunities.

Education and/or Experience :

Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering or related field

2 years of experience deploying technical engineered equipment problem solving skills, namely root cause analysis and strategic thinking

2 years’ experience in project management in sales management for a business to business market

3 years’ experience in working and communicating with multiple internal and external parties

Relevant industry experience required along with a strong appreciation to Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) technology.

Strong entrepreneurial skills and a natural ability to spot opportunities for revenue generation.

Natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills.
