Position Summary

The Patient Services Director is a multifaceted position located at our main Femrite Campus. This position oversees all aspects of the Adult Residential Treatment Program Admissions Department, manages the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic, and oversees the day-to-day operation of the women s sober living home, Chandra s House of Hope.

This professional position serves as a point of first contact for individuals in need of services, as well as provider and community partners. This individual establishes and maintains relationships and serves as an internal and external liaison to support the wellbeing of clients and the mission and goals of the organization.

Essential Functions

Manage the Patient Services Team which serves as the primary point of first contact and triage for inquiries to programs and services organization wide.

Supervise and complete admissions to the residential treatment program, including bed count and waitlist management, clinical review of cases, insurance verification, authorizations, billing complexities, financial, FMLA, COBRA, and disability consulting, and data management.

Manage the Behavioral Health Outpatient Clinic operations and personnel.

Establish and maintain provider relationships for referral and business development.

Responsible for compliance with state and federal regulations and licensure, HIPAA and best practice internal policy and procedure within assigned departments.

Serve as internal liaison between clinical, billing, and administrative departments.

Manage inquiries and admissions for the women s sober living home, Chandra s House of Hope, including day-to-day oversight of the house manager and residents, as well as creation of policy and procedure.

Collaborate with the Billing Department Manager in revenue cycle management, including collections and opportunities for additional revenue sources.

Contribute to the marketing and outreach focus based upon industry, community, and internal trends.

Participate in the annual review of insurance contracts for negotiation. Provide feedback relative to utilization management and procedural concerns.

Negotiate rates and terms with non-contracted providers for the residential treatment program.

Assist with the electronic health records implementation, maintenance, and decision making.

Responsible for campus general management of facilities including maintenance, signage, cleaning, etc.

Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Business, Health Services, or related field.

Demonstrated relationship management, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.

5 years experience working with insurance companies and other payer sources.

2 years experience working with COBRA, FMLA, and disability.

Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health

Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
