Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Population Health, the Associate Director of Quality, Evaluation, and Assessment leads UHS efforts to identify, measure and report results on organization priorities and quality improvement efforts. This position manages a team who works with clinical and population health leadership to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, continuous quality improvement efforts, and process and outcome measurement.

This position will also work with clinical and population health leadership and other teams across the organization to communicate and demonstrate the value of our products.

Responsible for identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends and patterns in complex data sets to help determine clinical priorities and initiatives and to measure the effectiveness of these initiatives

Master's degree or advanced degree in health or social sciences required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 5 years professional experience. Experience in a multi-function team environment and ability to motivate while providing guidance to direct reports and team members. Experience in developing, administering, analyzing and reporting on surveys of patients and/or populations

Work requires the ability

- to analyze and solve data management problems and to analyze and interpret clinical data;

- to work well in a team environment and to be self-motivated, while providing guidance to team members;

- to communicate clearly and accurately in both verbal and written mode concisely describing problems, solutions, specifications and plans.

Preferred:

Experience with clinical and/or operational performance improvement initiatives.

Experience in a health care environment

Analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience leading large-scale projects and providing guidance to the technical resources as assigned.

Experience communicating and presenting to diverse audiences including senior level management.

Understanding of standard clinical models

Proficient in business intelligence solutions (data warehouses, data marts, dashboards and scorecards) using Microsoft, Tableau or other prominent BI technology tools and able to lead others in the effective use of these tools.

Strong knowledge of and practical experience with reporting packages and databases (SQL/TSQL and SQL Server Management Studios) as well as experience with multiple health care data sources and key performance indicators.

Experience analyzing and solving data management problems and interpreting clinical data.

Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including AAAHC
