This position is responsible for the administration of franchising agreements, amendments, renewals, and terminations within the residential and commercial real estate brands in the Realogy Franchise Group (RFG). This position will lead the efforts in determining and implementing appropriate processes, procedures and accountability standards for cross-functional teams in support of the preparation, execution, and ongoing maintenance of franchise agreements for all of the RFG brands. This position must be able to build effective relationships with RFG finance, legal, franchise sales and brand operating teams. In addition, this position is responsible for monitoring compliance with select sections of the franchise agreement. This position will work with our real estate brand and sales leadership to streamline practices to simply and gain greater efficiencies This position will lead the efforts in supporting the processes, procedures, and accountability standards associated with franchise contract administration and compliance. The successful candidate will be a sharp, energetic, data driven and focused leader who is motivated to address and develop a process and implement practices to improve the function.. Specific Responsibilities:. The key objectives and challenges of this position will include, but are not limited to:. Management of the franchisee application process including formalizing the deal, establishing the terms and conditions, negotiating stipulations with the potential candidate and internal RFG stakeholders, and the approval process.. Administering processes, procedures, and policies related to the administration and compliance of agreements, amendments, renewals, and terminations such as ownership transfers and changes, relocation support, responsible broker changes, SBA loans, DBA changes, non-traditional offices, and CPN assignments.. Working closely and in conjunction with the Franchisee’s and brand representatives, collaborating with multiple department peers such as Sales, Legal, Finance, and Brand Service groups.. Identify and streamline internal and external best practices with regards to franchise contract administration and compliance.. Responsible for overseeing OFAC screening of our franchise owners, compliance with insurance requirements and website compliance.. Exceeding expected customer service levels including accountability for ensuring timeliness and accuracy of work products such as the delivery of franchise agreements and addendums.. Supporting operational and project management related activities required to continually improve upon the organization’s resources and capabilities.. Primary liaison with IT for internal CRM systems that administer and manage franchise agreements.. Overseeing the strict adherence of the finalization of all documentation, including final execution, ensuring the integrity of all information related to every agreement.. Minimum Qualifications:. B.S./B.A. Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline.. Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of operational or contract management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.. Minimum of 10 years of contract management, compliance, operational and/or business management work experience.. Demonstrated experience in franchising, familiarity with contract administration activities, real estate, and good analytical skills.. Must be a self-starter with excellent leadership skills who will inspire and motivate team members across the organization and foster a strong team environment.. Experience in building a best-practice perspective to an organization.. Strong business sense and instincts, with an ability to develop data driven decisions. Demonstrated ability to be successful in a process driven department and manage and measure success..
