Primary Function We are looking for a skilled Assembler to connect water softener parts to build a final water softener unit. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You must possess great manual dexterity & be able to lift the 50lb media. Ability to read instructions represented in schematics and follow them with precision is extremely important. We have a small laid back crew of 5-7 people that you will be working with on the line. Every day during the week you will be doing a different part of the assembly. The shift is 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday. Very minimal weekends. If overtime is needed, we normally come in an hour early. No holidays. We Offer Regularly Scheduled Hours: First Shift Hours, 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday, OT as needed Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.01/hour Benefits: Medical, Dental, and vision start on Day 1! Responsibilities Reading bill of materials Pick parts from multiple locations Assemble components Inventory control Shop clean up Quality control Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Ability to frequently lift up to 50lbs Good attitude and team player Ability to obtain a fork lift certification within 60 days of hire Measurement/mathematical skills Appcast Education High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and with assistance While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
