We are currently seeking dedicated Overnight Event Security personnel to ensure the safety and security of our clients' events, people, and assets during the night shifts. This position requires vigilance, integrity, and a commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will have experience in security or law enforcement, possess strong observational skills, and be capable of responding swiftly and effectively to any security challenges or emergencies that arise after hours. Monitor and patrol event premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the security of doors, windows, and gates. Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly. Manage access control for attendees and staff, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter secured areas. Record details of events and irregularities such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized individuals. Provide information to guests and staff regarding safety procedures and assist in evacuation if necessary. Proficiency in the use of security surveillance systems Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle typical and crisis situations efficiently and effectively Physical fitness and stamina to walk and stand for long periods Demonstrated ability to act with integrity and professionalism Valid Security Guard license or certification as per regional legislation
