Description:How will you make an impact?Under general direction
of the IT Director, the Systems Administrator installs, maintains,
tests, and repairs systems and networks for a variety of private
and public sector clients. This role utilizes advanced technical
knowledge to plan and lead the implementation of technical
solutions while providing specialized leadership and support
resolution for issues of a comprehensive and complex nature. The
Systems Administrator maintains currency of knowledge with respect
to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards
and/or systems, in addition to performing miscellaneous job-related
duties as assigned by department head. This is an outstanding
opportunity to develop professionally in IT with exposure to a
diverse set of businesses and industries. Primary responsibilities
include:
Client Interface
- Oversee and perform the installation, configuration and
maintenance of computers, networks, workstations and/or other
related equipment and devices
- Manage projects from inception through completion by
effectively delivering solutions within designated timelines
- Perform complex problem-solving and provide user assistance for
diverse software applications and hardware systems
- Provide in-depth individual and/or group instruction and
training to on new or updated technologies
- Perform advanced technological systems support, maintenance,
and testing for proper upkeep of systems; troubleshoot and resolve
detailed system hardware, software, network failures and
conflictsResource Management
- Supervise and provide functional direction to Level 1 and Level
2 technicians performing the same or similar type of work
- Develop and maintain an effective documentation library of all
support processes, procedures and user instructions for IT
equipment and software
- Oversee and maintain applicable records such as, but not
limited to, network users, security, and tracking inventory levels
of equipment and materials
- Play an active role in the research, review, evaluation, and
recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software
acquisitions and/or network updatesTechnical Activities
- Install and maintain network hardware and software
- Determine network and system requirements
- Evaluate and modify system performance
- Maintain integrity of network, server deployment and
security
- Physically move servers and other IT equipment
- Provide excellent desktop support, onsite and remote desktop
access
- Identify, analyze, isolate, troubleshoot, and provide detail
resolutions of complex technical issues
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Comply with continuing education

Requirements:
- Being proactive and taking initiative, with the ability to
prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and analytical
skills, with the ability to make decisions based on accurate,
timely analysis
- Excellent communication and follow through with client
expectations
- 2+ years of experience working in public accounting
preferred
- Holding an Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field
(preferred)
- Knowledge of payroll processing helpful - knowledge of Sage,
QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and
research tools
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and
confidentiality concerning business affairs
- Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bending, stretching, and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. is
required
- Professional presence and proper phone etiquette are
requiredThis is a full-time, exempt position and paid on a salaried
basis.
