On call hours may be required.Description:Our client is looking for a BI Technical Lead purpose of this position is to support Data Warehouses containing data from different sources. Candidate will design, develop, and maintain databases for data storage and data mining.Tasks

• Perform data warehouse design and testing, including data design, database architecture, metadata, and repository creation.
• Seek continuous improvement in performance of data warehouse and ensure security of data.
• Responsible for leading the project, design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture and will work with our business partners and IT management team to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.
• Furthermore, the individual will optimize the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.
• Create testing methodology and criteria, design and coordinate a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capacity, develop standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems, and develops data/information quality metrics.
• Lastly, the individual will participate in special projects as requiredSkills Required10 years of experience in the following
  • Extensive experience with Datawarehouse Architecture and Datawarehouse projects, including logical and physical data modeling and optimization
  • Expert level experience with ETL tool Informatica
  • Expertise in SQL, with database experience in Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and utilization of performance measures and reports
  • Experienced project manager or leader
  • Expertise in implementation of large, complicated models and processes
  • Ability to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures including test/use cases
  • Ability to navigate and query a relational database (Oracle) to both develop reports
  • Data analysis
  • Data Warehouse - Experience in data warehouse design and development
  • Data Warehouse - Performance tuning
  • Knowledge of Kimball data warehouse design principals
  • Informatica5 years of experience in the following
    • Business Objects universe and reporting design and development skills with experience in methods for optimizing the Business Objects universe against the physical model
