Other benefits include 401(k) with company match, and a pension plan, vacation and sick time.In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with all First Article Metrology in the Development Center and Production. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and review of validation protocols and final reports, including statistical support for Application Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers. This position also provides Measurement System Analysis for the Quality Department. Complete measurement testing of prototypes and first articles for new business/products Measure key dimensions as outlined by customers and application engineers Work with internal and external measurement services Review first article reports with project leaders Review quality requirements on quotes and new jobs Recommend inspection methods/processes, including designing measurement fixtures Review validation requirements, including spreadsheet validation Draft/review inspection notes and certifications, other required forms Set up visual samples and/or pictures for production Initial print/spec review on new jobs Assist in performing Measurement System Analysis/Gage R & R Studies Assist Application Engineers with data collection - development of validation protocols, DOE studies, other statistical tools as part of validation and help with report analysisRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree in engineering or related field or equivalent hands-on experience working in a technical quality role is required.Experience with statistical methods and continuous improvement - knowledge and experience with methods and tools required.Hands-on experience working in a technical quality role supporting manufacturing (1-3 years) required.Ability to work collaboratively as a team and work independently with minimum supervisonHighly organized, able to manage multiple projects as well as maintain focus on individual tasksGood written and oral communication skillsGood presentation skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office productsGood analytical problem solving and critical thinking skillsGood project management skillsTreats others with respect, keeps commitments, inspires trust of others, works ethically and with integrity while upholding organizational valuesCompany SummaryIf you want to reshape the world and discover your greatest potential, Saint-Gobain provides one-of-a-kind opportunities for innovative problem solvers.
