Bi-Lingual Human Resource Assistant

Summary/Objective

This Bi-Lingual Human Resource Assistant position will be responsible for the administrative support of our day-to-day human resource operations and language support to our Spanish-speaking employee group. This entry-level position will start between $17-18 per hour, depending on prior experience. The daily hours for this position are negotiable but are expected to be during the day and Monday through Friday. We will consider both full-time and part-time qualified candidates for this role.

What You'll Do Every Day

  • Assist Spanish-speaking employees with their employment, training, and benefits questions.
  • Create packets for new hires and benefits orientations.
  • Schedule in-person training and orientation sessions.
  • Schedule and manages online and in-person training.
  • Maintain HR spreadsheets.
  • Maintain employee training records and personnel files.
  • Assist with HR projects.
  • Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and collating.
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills/Abilities:
    • Ability to speak both English and Spanish.
    • Written translation ability is preferred but not required.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education and Experience
      • High school diploma or equivalent required
      • One year of office/clerical support experience preferred
      • Bilingual (Spanish)
      • Previous HR experience preferred Seats Incorporated designs, manufactures, and markets seating and accessories for operators of vehicles with wheels or tracks. Our products appear in over-the-highway semi-tractors, turf care, off-highway equipment, military vehicles, and emergency vehicles.
