solutions-orientated individual to lead the strategy, design,
implementation, and ongoing administration of our Total Rewards,
Payroll, HR Systems & Technology, and People Operations
functions!
In partnership with the SVP and Chief People Officer, Total Rewards
Manager, HR Systems Manager, and other leaders, you will be
responsible for ensuring UWCU employee programs are competitive,
balanced and achieve desired behaviors and results that are closely
aligned to the company's business strategies. Your top desire is to
deliver operational excellence on a day-to-day basis along with
building scalable, sustainable, and robust offerings to support
employee needs in our growing organization!

today!Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance to define and implement an ideal HR
service delivery model to maximize resources and effectively
deliver on PSS inquires and requests.
- Works collaboratively with the People Strategies and Solutions
Leadership Team (PSSLT) and stakeholders within and outside of PSS
to continually review, adapt and elevate the People Team's service
delivery structure to meet changing business needs.
- Leads the PSSLT to review, develop and deliver solutions to
improve processes, gain efficiencies and effectiveness of processes
and programs that have direct impact on the employee experience and
that align with business priorities and further enhance the
employee experience.
- Responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of
the overall HRMS Technology Strategy and roadmap for the
organization.
- Identify, develop, and implement key HR systems and process
initiatives across multiple platforms.
- Oversee the successful delivery deployment and adoption of
complex UKG projects that require significant stakeholder
management.
- Partners with PSSLT and HR System SMEs to increase and expand
HR system capabilities to build streamlined and scalable processes,
provide meaningful insights and analytics for the business and to
improve the employee experience.
- Accountable for HR technology data integrity, reporting and
analytics.
- Accountable to develop and advise communication of a
comprehensive total rewards strategy designed to educate and inform
employees about total rewards and to support employees
understanding the value of their total rewards package.
- In partnership with the Total Rewards Manager, accountable for
the success and evolution to the e Total Rewards programs targeted
at retaining talent, driving our competitive advantage, and the
engagement of employees.
- Provides oversight and is accountable for the evaluation and
effectiveness of the contracts and relationships with benefit
providers.
- Benchmark across all areas of rewards to elevate the
understanding of our market competitiveness and evolve it over time
to meet the changing landscape of Total Rewards.
- Interact with vendors and external partners to create and
maintain relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Lead the organization through regular benchmarking to analyze
and assess market data, industry trends and best practices to
create market competitive rewards package.
- Actively participates in the PSS annual planning process. Leads
and establishes plan for the Total Rewards and People Operations
area each year. Ensures individual team members have individual
goals that align with the PSS initiatives and workplan items.
- Collaborates with the other PSS leadership team members to
ensure programs, policies and practices are executed smoothly.
- Advises, counsels, and educates management, PSS staff and
employees about Total Rewards, HR Technology and People
Operations.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of policies and
procedures related to Total Rewards, HR Technology and People
Operations.
- Actively participates and assists with the facilitation of PSS
Leadership and Team meetings.

skills and experiences are essential to your success:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years of progressive human resources work experience in the
area of total rewards, HR Technology, operations, and/or
compliance.
- 6-7 years of experience managing or supervising employees
- Experience with self-funded plan design, implementation, and
on-going review including innovative approaches to managing
employer costs while enhancing employee experience, service and
quality of care.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Advanced knowledge with HRMS database design, structure,
functions, and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to promote a supportive working
environment where teammates are encouraged to proactively address
issues and solve problems.
- High emotional intelligence and strong relationship management
skills with demonstrated ability to establish effective working
relationships and accomplish objectives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to
quickly a adapt to changing priorities and ensure deadlines are
met.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to
plan, organize, coordinate, and direct multiple activities with
varied deadlines and deliver on time.
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills with the
ability to make sound judgments and take the initiative to
establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with ability
to communicate with employees at all levels of the
organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team
environment with ability to communicate in a tactful, mature, and
flexible manner.
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to
analyze complex systems issues and recommend creative, practical,
and high-impact solutions. Proactive problem solver.
- Ability to write procedures and job aids and write & explain
technical data in a manner easy to understand by non-technical
teammates.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to develop and
coach high performing employees.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive
information with strict confidence.These attributes and knowledge
are preferred but not required:
- Masters degree
- SHRM, SPHR, or other HR certification highly desiredWhy work
