Catering a Fresco is hiring a Line Cook position. This position pays between $17-$20/hour.Title: Line CookWork Status: Non-Exempt/HourlyReports to: Kitchen Manager or ChefPosition Summary: This role prepares food to the exact Chefs specifications. Line cook role consists in preparing food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces). The line cook assists with menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.Essential Functions:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the ChefStocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the lineFood preparation and portioning prior to serviceMaintaining a clean and sanitary work environmentAbility to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of timeKey Requirements:Experience in full service restaurant is desiredUnderstanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipmentSolid referencesFlexible scheduleTask-driven individualQualifications:Candidates should have professional kitchen experience, including working a hot line and grill.Other Duties:This is not an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.
