How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. Lead patient care by accurately positioning and selecting technical parameters to ensure clear, high-quality diagnostic imaging. Protect patients and the care team by strictly implementing all radiation protection and safety standards. Collaborate with physicians to prepare for and assist in advanced imaging and special procedures. Administer contrast media and essential medications in strict compliance with all state and federal regulations to support safe and accurate diagnostics. Document high-quality patient imaging data and records, ensuring prompt and accurate submission to the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
