As a Full Time RN Medical Team Administrator at Waushara County Jail, WI, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the healthcare standards are not only met but exceeded within the facility. This position requires a dedicated individual who can manage healthcare delivery with compassion and efficiency, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards. Supervise day-to-day operations of nursing staff and healthcare services at the correctional facility. Ensure the delivery of high-quality medical care and adherence to all regulatory, safety, and health standards. Administer medications, carry out treatments, and conduct medical screenings as required. Develop and maintain healthcare protocols and standard operating procedures in collaboration with senior health officers. Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the nursing staff. Coordinate with external healthcare providers and manage patient appointments and follow-ups. Compile and report medical statistics, including drug inventories and medical consultations, maintaining meticulous records. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure in a challenging environment Proficient in clinical skills and administration of medications Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards applicable to correctional facilities Registered Nurse (RN) licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin. CPR Certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
