Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro ICU - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: 90% FTE, 8/12-hour evening/night shift between the hours of 3:00 pm - 7:30 am with a two in six weekend rotation. Holiday rotation required. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Pay: Additional components of compensation include impressive shift differentials - $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and $4.25/hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked. We are seeking an experienced inpatient Care Team Leader (CTL) / Charge Nurse to join our remarkable neurocritical care team! About the position: - Lead on a fast-paced unit that specializes in the care of critically ill adult patients with a variety of neuro diagnoses including, but not limited to: stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizure, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and surgical resections. - Mentor others to grow professionally and advance their knowledge and skills. - Be a resource for and motivate a team of nurses where nurse-driven collaboration and partnership with nationally certified physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary care team is valued.
