Now Hiring: Physical Therapist - Full-Time | Outpatient Orthopedics | Bone & Joint, Wausau, WI (54401) Position Overview: Bone & Joint is expanding and currently hiring multiple full-time Physical Therapists to join our Outpatient Orthopedics team in Wausau, WI. We offer a collaborative and supportive environment focused on patient-centered care, where therapists work directly with patients throughout their entire treatment. Position Highlights: Location: Bone & Joint, 225000 Hummingbird Rd 100, Wausau, WI 54401 Schedule: Full-time position, Monday-Friday, with variable hours between 7am-6pm. Enjoy work-life balance with no weekends or holidays. Sign-On Bonus: A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for full-time hires. Caseload & Patient Population: Focus: Outpatient Orthopedics, with a caseload that includes 50% post-operative patients and a mix of general orthopedic cases across all age groups. One-on-One Care: Physical Therapists work one-on-one with patients throughout their treatment—no aides or patient doubling. Collaboration: PTs work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to ensure the best care for patients. Patient Scheduling: Sessions: Physical Therapists see approximately 53 patients per week, with 45-minute treatment sessions (including evaluations). Daily Load: On average, PTs work with 9-10 patients per day due to occasional cancellations. Job Requirements: Education: Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent. Licensure: Must be eligible for Wisconsin state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Availability: Full-time availability is preferred, though candidates with at least 32 hours per week will be considered. Experience: Prior experience is not required; new graduate PTs are welcome to apply.
