UW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro ICU for a
nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements -

Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: 60% FTE, day/night shift.
This is a weekender position with shifts scheduled Friday - Sunday.
Will primarily work day shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) with rotation to
nights (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) every third weekend. Must work holidays
that fall on scheduled shift per weekender guidelines. You will
work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Pay: Additional
components of compensation include impressive shift differentials -
$4/hour evening, $5/hour night and $10/hour weekender differential
as applicable for hours worked. Bring your passion in caring for
others to our 18-bed Neuro ICU, a high acuity unit that serves as a
hub of intensive care for our Comprehensive Stroke Center at the 1
hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking an experienced inpatient
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our remarkable team! About the unit:
- Fast-paced unit that specializes in the care of critically ill
adult patients with a variety of neuro diagnoses including, but not
limited to: stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections
and trauma. - Provide strong critical thinking skills along with
specialized interventions and procedures such as hemodynamic
monitoring and hypothermia. - Work alongside a team of motivated
nurses where nurse-driven collaboration and partnership with
nationally certified physicians and other members of the

posted positions. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
(BSN) Preferred Work Experience - Six (6) months nursing experience
or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program with
successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on
unit/similar unit. Required - Relevant RN experience Preferred
Licenses & Certifications - Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in
the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that
has adopted the nurse licensure compact Upon Hire Required -
Current CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required - ACLS within 6
