Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit RN – Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour shifts (1900-0730), every other
weekend, some holidays, no call Highlights: Join the Cardiothoracic
Surgery and Transplant team at Wisconsin's 1 hospital, a
Magnet-designated facility recognized nationally for excellence
Work in a 27-bed acuity adaptable ICU caring for cardiac and
thoracic surgery patients, heart and lung transplant recipients,
and specialized cardiac medical cases Comprehensive team support
including 2 Care Team Leaders, 1 Rapid Response Nurse, and
interdisciplinary resources including IV teams, respiratory
services, and pharmacy Dynamic case mix including CABG, valve
repair/replacement, LVAD, heart and lung transplants, STEMI/NSTEMI,
and complex medical devices Typical patient ratios of 1-2 patients
with strong charge nurse and resource support for complex
procedures 24 hours of orientation to support your transition to
the team Requirements: Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact
license from permanent address state (must be in hand at time of
application) Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience within the
last 3 years, with CVICU experience required Experience and
knowledge of NextStage CVVH machine required Epic EMR experience
required, preferably within the last 12 months BLS and ACLS
certification through American Heart Association Basic Arrhythmia
experience; must pass telemetry competency exam prior to start with
strict criteria (100% accuracy on lethal rhythms and 3rd degree
heart blocks, 80% overall passing score) Experience in
Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable areas strongly
preferred Trauma Level I experience required Previous travel
experience required Permanent address must be 50 miles or more from
the facility Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions
