Job Description Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Psychiatric for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Psychiatric - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel All shifts available (days and nights) CPI certification required. Must be available to pick up at least 5 shifts per month North Central's Behavioral Health Services is located in Wausau, WI. The youth inpatient hospital offers short-term crisis stabilization (average 5 7 days) in a secure, co-ed facility with a capacity of 8 beds for adolescents ages 13 - 17 each with a private room. The facility is staffed by a multidisciplinary team psychiatrists, nurses, behavioral health techs, therapists, social workers and offers evidence-based therapies such as group sessions in CBT, DBT, and acceptance & commitment therapy, supplemented with individual counseling, family meetings, and wellness activities.
