Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Radius Rule: Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius Job Title: Job Title: Cardiac Telemetry/Step Down RN - • Shift Requirements: 12 hours NOCS 1900-0730 Float Requirements: Float to all inpatient units as needed On Call/Call Back Requirements: can be low censused and put on call. Call back minimum is 2 hours • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend. Every other holiday • Required Certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS. Must be able to pass EKG test 1st week of hire. Minimum Experience: MUST HAVE 1 YEAR STRONG CARDIAC EXPERIENCE (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) & 2 years IMC/PCU/Tele experience required. Candidates cannot move forward in the interview process without experience without Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro Drips. *Required: at least ONE travel assignment must be completed * Charting- 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required • Unit Information: 44 Bed Intermediate cardiac stepdown. Fast paced, high patient turnover. Post op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, Vascular, Arrhythmia, CHF, Post procedure cath, pacer, defib, ablations, Acute CP/MI, med/surg overflow i.e. detox, DKA, COPD exac, resp failure, Fem Pop Bypass.
