Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Madison, WI Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,607 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Wisconsin Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Madison, Wisconsin Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required Highlights: Join a state-of-the-art 21-bed Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU at a nationally recognized, Magnet-designated facility Care for critically ill children with complex medical and surgical conditions including cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, ECMO, and multi-system organ failure Work alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team including university faculty physicians and specialized pediatric staff EPIC charting system required with recent experience preferred within the past 12 months Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity Comprehensive 36-hour orientation program with ongoing interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Requirements: Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact license from permanent address state (must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years, with strong Pediatric ICU background required At least 1 year of cardiovascular ICU experience required; candidates with extensive high-acuity Level II experience may be considered Current BLS certification through American Heart Association ONLY Current PALS certification through American Heart Association EPIC charting system experience required (within past 12 months preferred) Basic arrhythmia experience and ability to pass telemetry competency exam prior to start with 80% or higher score and 100% identification of lethal rhythms Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from facility First-time travelers accepted if meeting experience requirements Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to provide expert family-centered care in a warm, healing environment specifically designed for pediatric patients and their families.
