Schedule: /n 32 hours per week. This position may be eligible for
up to an $8,000 sign-on bonus (pro-rated based on FTE). Monday –
Friday day shift, variable start times. Locations at University
Hospital and UW Health Arbor Gate Heart Clinic in Madison, WI. At
University Hospital only: Saturday and Sunday shifts 8:00A – 4:30PM
on a reasonable rotational basis. One hour call response time.
Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. /n

Sonographers (Echocardiographer) to: /n /n - Become a member of a
dynamic team that focuses on providing an optimal cardiovascular

The team supports a robust structural heart program. The procedures
include; transcatheter aortic and mitral valve replacements,
Watchman and MitraClip implantation and alcohol septal ablation
procedures. /n - Work with other teams of health care professionals
to provide a positive experience to all patients, families and
visitors. /n - Join our Cardiovascular Imaging Lab that is
accredited by the IAC - in both Echo and Vascular Imaging. /n -
Work at a variety of locations, including a Level 1 Trauma Center,
critical care facility and several clinics in the Madison area /n

Graduate of an ultrasonography program. Required /n - Completion of
a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs
(CAAHEP) accredited ultrasonography training program. Preferred /n
- Bachelor’s degree in Ultrasonography, Radiology, Biological
Sciences or a relevant health sciences field. Preferred /n /n /n /n
/n /n /n Work Experience/n /n /n /n - 2 years of echocardiography
experience Preferred /n /n /n /n /n /n /n Licenses &
Certifications/n /n /n /n - Registered in echocardiography (RCS or
RDCS) Upon Hire Required /n - Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire
Required /n - Registered in echocardiography and vascular
ultrasound (RCS or RDCS and RVT or RVS) Preferred /n /n /n/n/n
