Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced
RN for a variable shift ICU position requiring travel experience
and a WI or compact RN license. Responsibilities - Work in the
MSICU with a mix of medical and surgical patients, including joint
replacements and general surgical cases - Unit includes 11 beds
designated for COVID patients - 12-hour variable shifts with a
weekend and holiday rotation - Required to work 2 weekends per
month, with scheduling based on assigned shift (nights: Fri/Sat,
days: Sat/Sun) - No required on-call or backup shifts; opportunity
for additional shifts as available - Must be willing to float to
affiliated locations: Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview -
Provide care for both medical and surgical ICU patients in a
dynamic environment - Strong teamwork, resilience, and adaptability
to change are essential - Dark blue scrubs are required - Holiday
coverage is required according to rotation for observed holidays -
Eligible for up to 36 nonbillable low census hours per contract and
may be placed on call during low census - References from two
supervisors and all certification copies are required for
consideration Requirements - Active WI or compact RN license
required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum 2
years of ICU experience and Med/Surg competency required - Prior
travel nursing experience required - Must live at least 50 miles
from the facility to be eligible - Must not request more than 7
