Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: Ongoing - Employment Type: Staff Work Schedule: /n 90% FTE, evening/night shift between the hours of 3:00 pm - 7:30 am with a two in six weekend rotation. Holiday rotation required. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. /n Pay: /n /n - Additional components of compensation may include:/n /n - Shift differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and $4.25/hour weekend differential as applicable for hours worked /n /n - Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants /n /n Join the 1 hospital in Wisconsin and be part of something remarkable! /n We are seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to: /n /n - Practice on a 12-bed acuity adaptable neuroscience critical care unit with the opportunity to support both ICU and IMC level of care. /n - Care for adult patients with a variety of neurology, neurosurgical and stroke conditions that can include ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, cerebral aneurysm, and other neurovascular diseases. /n - Utilize strong critical thinking skills and provide interventions that may include vasoactive drips, hemodynamic monitoring, feeding tubes, drains, frequent assessments, and more. /n - Work with a dynamic and supportive team of nurses that are an integral part of our nationally recognized neuroscience programs committed to providing expert care. /n /n At UW Health, you will have: /n /n - An excellent benefits package, including health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, two-week paid parental leave and adoption assistance. Required /n - Relevant RN Experience Preferred /n /n /n /n Licenses & Certifications/n /n Minimum – Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification.
