Job Description:
Assists professional nursing staff in caring for hospitalized
patients under supervision.
Requires graduation from an accredited practical nursing
program.
Must hold a current New Mexico LPN license; BLS certification
needed within 2 weeks of hire; other certifications within 6
months.
Skills include passing LPN competency checks; LPN IV Therapy
certification preferred; fluent in English.
Minimum of 6 months hospital experience required.
Reports to Manager or Director; works in a clean, well-lit
environment with exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays.
Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, bending, and
handling emergencies; normal or corrected hearing and vision
required.
