Experience: --- 12 months of role experience is required from any number of months. --- 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience is required from last 3 years. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission). --- This role will require floating to multiple units --- Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live > 50 miles from facility to be submitted.--- Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Additional Details: Day/Evening, Monday - Friday, 12-hr shifts, . Every other weekend rotation, some holidays. Experience: Inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty they are submitting to. This is a hard requirement. Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. RTO Requirements: Manager will review/approve during candidate review process. Generally, no more than 2 weeks off in a contract. If the request is more than 1 week and is consecutive (no hours in the week), Vaya will add 1 week at the end of the contract. Generally, all job postings will state that weekend rotations and some holidays will be required. Some units are stricter than others regarding holidays (ED allows for 1 holiday off). Orientation Schedule: UWH orientation is held every other week - typically on a Monday, but not all travelers will start on a Monday even if the contract has a Monday start. This is due to department specific orientation schedules. Travelers should follow the start date and time listed in their welcome letter and department schedule. Orientation is typically about one week. Additional details within the orientation section of this guide. Maximum days off: 14 days 1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission Proof of identification required Certifications: --- BLS (Basic Life Support)
